Our Mission

The VIAIL (Visual Intelligence and Analytical Imaging Lab), a hub of academic and experimental excellence, focuses on the intersection of computer vision, data visualization, and information processing (Visual Informatics) and AI/ML-based image processing and analysis (Analytical Imaging).

A Name That Sees

We (V), Eye (I), Artificial Intelligence (AI).

A Name That Speaks

VIAIL (وئیل) in Pashto translates to “saying” or "expressing", which metaphorically aligns our lab's motive, “speaks through vision and images.”
